We did not get called. 😭 @jillianmarisa and I were 26 and 27. They called 25 and 28. It is hard to not take that personally. Jillian seems A-OK. I regret that I’m in a crummy mood. I’ll be fine.
It was fun. I do still recommend going. Maybe making a day of it with the first and third taping.

This girl Katherine. Her father -a retired police chief- took us under his wing and gave us lots of tips and heads up. He has tried TPIR a few times, no luck.
She didn’t have a ticket, was a walk-on at the last min once those w/ tickets cleared. Worked out for her.
This Rudolph guy was in my interview session with the producers. Dude rocked it with his well-rehearsed story. He’s a teacher. Talked about how he taught all over the state and then went to Prison…To teach there. As best I can tell, they pick one person per interview group. There’s no competing against that. Nice guy, too.
Fun story: They shoot the two wheel-spin segments at the same time. Which makes sense given how small the set is. Just never thought about it until I saw it and the 💡 went off over my big bald head. Haha
Well, did not get called up. But still got a bunch of camera time given folks around me were called. Still had a blast. Booked it straight to the airport and now on rental car bus with plane boarding in 70 mins.
