"100" is a song by British musician #DeanBlunt from his second studio album, #BlackMetal (2014). Written and produced by Blunt, it features additional vocals from Scottish singer Joanne Robertson. It was released as a #promotionalSingle on April 13, 2015. It #samples "Over My Shoulder" by #thePastels, whose member Stephen McRobbie receives writing credits. "100" received acclaim from #musicCritics, who praised the composition and lyrics.

#ThePastels were/are a quietly revolutionary band from Glasgow. The were DIY in many respects and paved the way for #BelleAndSebastian, #Mogwai and #FranzFerdinand. I loved the "anorak" scene, which was basically dressing down in the 80s when everyone else was dressing up. Their songwriting was a bit #JonathanRichman, a bit deliberately fragile but they still knew how to rock. The opening track on their debut LP "Ride" is massive and still sounds great.
