Reading, in less than favourable circumstances, The Name of the Wind.
It must be alright as I keep coming back to it even though the unpleasant circumstance is part of the experience.
Though I'm thinking the author woefully underestimates the power of the education the main character has received and so has him unrealistically remaining a beggar-thief for far too long.
