Spooky, Kooky & Creepy
Some of the fantastic miniatures sculpted by Sharon Cariola! Each figurine - icons from film + tv, - is about 5-6 inces tall sculpted from BeesPutty or Cosclay over wire armature painted with Genesis oils + clothed in recycled cotton from 2nd hand stores.

Lily Munster, as played by Yvonne De Carlo, was one of my earliest crushes even before I knew what a crush was. When I became a teenager, I wanted to be a Goth - not for the music, I just wanted to meet girls who looked like Lily. Sadly, growing up where I did, there were no Goth gals and just being a 'nerd' already made me a punching bag; dressing up as a vampire would have been suicide!
Ah, well. Forgive me, Herman, but I still have a special place in my heart for your wife.

24th September 1964: The Munsters premiered 60 years ago today on U.S. television.
I adored The Munsters when I was a little kid (I still do actually). In schoolyard arguments, I always chose the occupants of 1313 Mockingbird Lane over The Addams Family. Not that I had anything against the Addams clan, it's just that I always found the Munsters more lovable. Who wouldn't want Herman, Lily, Grandpa, Eddie and Marilyn as neighbours?
