Had the pleasure to see 2 #AgathaChristie plays in #London! #TheMousetrap is the longest running play in the world, it has a good story with a somewhat unsatisfying reveal. OTOH #WitnessfortheProsecution is staged in #LondonCountyHall where you feel like you're part of the action. We were sucked into the story as scenes unfolded with unexpected twists right up to the end. Actors for both plays were brilliant, but the plot + stage setting + comfy seats made Witness the more enjoyable experience.

It could be Ricky Rouse instead of Mickey Mouse, and the difference would be negligible. The obvious lesson here is to not rush headlong to prey on someone else’s intellectual property. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should, especially if you don’t have a plan.

Yesterday we went to London to see #TheMousetrap for my wife's "big birthday" present and thoroughly enjoyed it. 🕵️‍♂️
We booked it far enough in advance that private box seats were available (for the same price as other tickets) so we got our own little balcony and even a private door/staircase (felt like royalty! 👑)
Would highly recommend to any fans of murder mysteries/#theatre in general, as the theatre is a museum in itself! 😊

Also saw #SeeHowTheyRun last night (two family movie nights in the same week!). Very fun if you’re into the murder mystery genre.

J turned to me and said, hey, we should watch #TheMousetrap since we’ve never seen it. And…wow, there really *is* a contract that forbids a movie version until the play stops running in the West End, where it’s run since 1952.
