#DevinTownsend's new album #TheMoth is out today. Deluxe Edition consists of the studio version and the raw orchestra & choir performance ("The Afterlife"). I saw the live debut performance last year on livestream and though I liked it back then already, with proper mixing it sounds absolutely phenomenal.

I have to say, I am really disappointed Devin Townsend's #TheMoth featured AI-generated art projections. They were uncanny and distracting at best even if you look past the ethics of it. And now it's occupying my mind and distracting me from talking about the actual music of his 10 years in the making project...

When she was 48, Kathleen Turner turned down the role of Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate on Broadway because it involved 23 seconds of nudity.
She changed her mind and took the role after receiving another script shortly afterwards that pissed her off because it described the leading woman as ‘37, but still attractive’.
If you want to feel joyful and invigorated today, listen to her tell that story herself. She's wonderful and she's hilarious.

Speaking of storytelling and utter joy in the form of a free worldwide podcast, I also wake up at night worrying that there may be people who haven’t yet heard about The Moth.
