I get it that people are happy because Dems won #themidterms . But things are not that simple. The party's policy for the last years has been to let the most fringe elements of the Rep party run amok and then basically turn to the people and be like "man, these clowns are nuts. You should vote for us". And it totally worked.
Here's the problem: if you play with fire, you will get burned. And the last thing the world needs are nutjobs being put center stage. -
