  4. One of my all-time favorite singers, Bobby "Blue" Bland, and a 1974 live performance from the Midnight Special. It seems that there is no surviving video footage of him from his sixties heydey (please prove me wrong!), so this is probably as close as you can get.

He visited Finland only once, in 1994, and I'm happy to report that I was there and he was still great!

  5. Another video from the Midnight Special TV show - the always wonderful Gladys Knight & the Pips and "Neither One Of Us", one of their last Motown hits, before they moved to even greater success at Buddah.

  6. More Charlie Rich from the Midnight Special. This is an excellent live version of his first hit, "Lonely Weekends", which originally came out on Phillips International (a subsidiary of Sun Records) in 1960.

In 1974 Steve Miller played The Joker and Fly Like An Eagle on US TV and transformed them into something entirely new
Another gem from The Midnight Special, as Steve Miller plays two classics as you've never heard them played before

  8. "#CantGetEnough of Your Love, Babe" is a song written, recorded, and produced by American musician #BarryWhite. Released in June 1974 as the first single from his third album, Can't Get Enough (1974), the song topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard #R_BCharts and has since become one of his #signatureTunes. It was his second US chart-topper, after "#LovesTheme". It became a gold record in the US. White performed this song live on #TheMidnightSpecial in 1974.
