Released as a #single on August 22, 2000, the song topped the charts of 10 countries, including Australia, where it was the highest-selling single of 2001. In the United States, it reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the top-selling country single of both 2001 and 2002.

The theme was released as a single (shortened and edited from the longer album version) two months after the #moviesSoundtrack by #StaxRecords' Enterprise label.
