Delightful episode.

Best remembered for the 1960s TV series THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E., costarring #RobertVaughn.

A few of the longer episodes became big-screen releases (esp. outside the US), notably THE SPY IN THE GREEN HAT, costarring #JanetLeigh, #JackPalance & #JoanBlondell.

Decades after UNCLE, McCallum became a regular in the series #NCIS.

At one point, he was married to #JillIreland.

Fried’s scores are consistently expressive and fresh. Filled with joy and exuberance, even as they’re often melodically, harmonically, and rhythmically complex. Plaintive and soaring woodwinds, aggressive percussion, and, especially in his work for Gilligan’s Island and The Man From UNCLE, a gleeful embrace of absurdity.
