I moved the clock radio. Its numbers were too bright for my now-dark bedroom. Voices? I'd accidentally turned the radio on. Fidgeting with it, it went silent. Off to sleep only to be awakened at midnight by the high-pitched alarm. Sounded like an Amber alert. Fidgeting again, the alarm was turned off. Tip: Don't move the clock radio.
