I love that #TheIndieBeatRadio and @TIBtv exist, but imo there's two problems. A lack of new work and a lack of curation. That's the value of #CreativeCommons.
The network shouldn't have to ask for the right to play a song or video. Many more artists have no problem making their work available. And on the flip side, approving use kinda makes the people who decide what to play feel indebted to those artists. Priority of play serves the community of artists more than potential listeners etc.

I love #TheIndieBeatRadio! But for some reason the website it is not running properly on my mac. (TIBTV runs perfectly.) Safari stops playing after each song, Firefox after a few songs, Orion too, Chromium seems okayish. In all cases songinfo is out of sync pretty soon. Is this just me? Is there a better way to listen to TIBR? #tibr #fedimusic (Pinging @limebar @axwax @sknob because I don’t know who else to ping.)

@benpate Hi Ben, sort of in reference to this, I've just found a service in the UK called "Amazing Radio" - https://amazingradio.com/. It's for-profit and unfederated, but it seems to do the job of discovering (radio streaming) and supporting (purchasing) indie musicians that I've seen mooted as the plan for the #bandwagon & #TheIndieBeatRadio tie-up.
I wondered if you knew about the service and had looked at their model of charging for extra promotion on their station.
