  1. OK, I've started watching #plur1bus for real, now at ep 3.

And I'm shocked to find there's apparently nothing on #TheIncomparable about it? What (unofficial) Pluribus podcast do people listen to?

  2. 📖 Annalee Newitz: Automatic Noodle

I rarely manage to actually read new books - it's quite usual that I'm at least a year behind, catching up on some award season books. This was an exception. I heard @jsnell recommend Automatic Noodle during the most recent @incomparable book club episode and just went and got it straight away. And I'm really glad I did as it was excellent!

Four robots are rebooted in a flooding restaurant that used to be their workplace but has been abandoned by the shady owners. They decide to take over the running of the restaurant themselves and start to serve proper food instead of the crap they were forced to do before.

This is the simplistic, surface level description of the book, but it's also so much more than that. It is a story about a post war world, trauma, love, independence, and survival. And it's very much a book about prejudice and who gets to be considered an individual with rights.

An absolutely fantastic read! Jason mentioned this in the podcast by saying this might be an award shortlisted book next year, and I definitely hope he is right. It would definitely deserve it.

  3. @siracusa @atpfm I’ve used #atpmovieclub ‘s audio guides for #myneighbortotoro and #kikisdeliveryservice to begin watching #studioghibli. I’m ready to continue. Have you published your recommended viewing order? And are there corresponding #TheIncomparable episodes you did discussing them?

  4. Don't let #TheBoyAndTheHeron / A Dark Totoro (#TheIncomparable #700) be your *first* episode of @incomparable

    Just don't. 😂

Also, don't let it be your last! 🏆

  5. I am catching up on Vulcan Hello, the @incomparable podcast about current Star Trek shows, and I was excited to hear @briannawu on the episode recapping Season 1 Episode 2 of Picard! #StarTrek #TheIncomparable #Podcast #Picard

  6. It's so *cute* to re-listen to @jsnell & The Crew at #TheIncomparable's #TeeVee #DoctorWho podcasts from waaaay back in 2011 (The Doctor's Wife).

They're mentioning that @neilhimself has a "Twitter Account" - amongst his many accomplishments.

These days, that's kind of a condemnation! 😂

  7. @HollyGoDarkly Before I forget or lose my nerve, I want to thank you for your work on #TotalPartyKill and #TheIncomparable.

#TPK is my go-to podcast for distracting my overactive brain. I've got the bootlegs and final edits organized in playlists by campaign. I've listened to most of them 3 or 4 times.

And recently, I've been greeted by your voice at the start of each skillfully-edited episode!

    Well done, and thanks.

  8. @mikebrew @SuperSideshow Exactly what I was saying.

I love @donmelton & @Verso's #Westworld podcast on #TheIncomparable TeeVee network, but until I got used to their:

    [Kelly]: I mean I can't believe when...
[Don] I know ... but when they did that
[Kelly]I know! Wow... How do we know what happened when...?

I almost cried until I got the hang of their shorthand! 😂

They don't do this often anymore...

[ps: Love ya' Kelly & Don...this is NOT an attack! It's an explanation]

  9. The only way I can understand many TV shows & movies these days is to follow @jsnell's #TheIncomparable's podcast feeds! The "Mothership" is really, really good!

    Give 'em a try!

  10. WOW! Going from my #AirPodsPro2 *back* to my #AirPodsPro for something as simple as listening to a #TheIncomparable podcast (that I know the quality and sound characteristics of) is a HUGE difference. Way "thinner" sound. I don't hear the depth I do in my #AirPodsPro2!
