  1. D-Day 82 years later – June 6th 2026

    COMMENT

    They are/were (not sure how many of them are left) the Greatest Generation. The term was applied not by them but by those who followed and recognized their accomplishments. They were the generation that put careers, politics, and eventually even prejudices aside to overcome a common foe.

    Read the letter below that Gen. Eisenhower sent out to be read just before the troops departed for the D-Day invasion. Pay close attention to the last two paragraphs. Those are the words of a true leader, no politically correct crap here. Today is a day of reflection, a day of remembrance, a day we can honor the men and women who took part in the events of D-Day. Can you imagine the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs saying or writing that last paragraph in 2026? Sadly, we are a nation that has forgotten our heritage and is paying the price.

    We shall NEVER FORGET.
