🚆📷 Some impressions of this #Class720 built by #Alstom for #GreaterAnglia. The first #Aventra trains entered service in 2020. They are fully accessible and feature a 3+2 seat layout with tables and power sockets, in addition to free Wi-Fi.

I’m not going to breach the conditions of entry to the event (even though I wasn’t aware of them when I bought my tickets).
But plenty of other people seem to have ignored the personal-use-only clause and are posting photos and videos.
Still deciding whether to pop back for day 3 – it’s a bit of a sensory nightmare, but there are a couple of things I haven’t seen.

In case anyone was wondering why I was on a train (you probably weren’t, I know), I was on my way to Derby.
I’ve come here for #TheGreatestGathering, a celebration of 200 years of public passenger railways in the UK.
Alstom, who are hosting the event, permit photography for personal use only, so these are possibly the best photos I can share with you (taken through fences yesterday). 😊
