The primary reason that #thegrayzone is one of the handful of sources I trust is that they regularly publish something that sounds so bananas I'm compelled to spend as much time as it takes to learn more about the issue from every perspective I can find and every time I've been able to verify the reporting beyond a reasonable doubt. I haven't found one single exception.
Try that with Bezos's #WashingtonPost sometime.
It's not verification if you read the same billionaire-funded unverifiable trash in the NYT or Fox or Breitbart or MSNBC because a) they aren't meaningfully different perspectives and b) propaganda isn't journalism. -

Presenting her as an “expert in human rights”, CNN hid the fact she is the director of the Dvora Institute advising the National Security Council, and she had worked for the International Law Department of the Israeli Attorney-General’s Office. There, she provided a detailed legal manual for forced feeding—an act of #torture used to break the hunger strikes of political #prisoners.
Since then, Elkayam has presented nothing but justifications for the absence of evidence. To this date, there is no evidence.

Max Blumenthal, the editor of The Grayzone website, wrote a piece on October 27 that can only be described as a master class in #manipulation. His article provided the basis for the now widespread conspiracy theory denying that Hamas murdered hundreds of Israeli civilians.
No one who knows Blumenthal or The Grayzone was surprised by this: They have a history of denying war crimes committed by Russia, China and the Assad regime in Syria, so this new episode was almost unavoidable.
The Grayzone denied the March 2022 massacre by Russian soldiers in Bucha, Ukraine, and accused the Syrian aid group the White Helmets of war crimes that were actually committed by the Assad regime.
