Oh my dear, it seems the fourth estate has you in their crosshairs again, and not even your most earnest frown can deter their glee. The press, you see, are like cats: they will knock your carefully balanced teacup off the table, not because it’s in the way, but because it’s there. In short, you may not be able to silence them, but you can out-sock them. And in the battle of headlines, sometimes that’s victory enough.

I am sick and tired of hearing the name “trump”. The obsession with the man defies logic. He’s a predatory profane deceitful ugly soulless little man. Once again: If actual #news #media did their jobs, videos like this one - a full hour's worth of just some of many things everybody could plainly see were completely insane, but which were still allowed to be things for years before they were accurately entered into the public record - wouldn't exist.
If #ThePress did the #journalism they're supposed to as #TheFourthEstate, we wouldn't have to turn to comedy shows for facts.

I find it deeply troubling to see no signs having emerged as yet, regarding the #press finding out how to maintain an objective informative position in the face of forces clearly & openly exploiting it to spread malicious, aggressively stupid bullshit.
Again: Objective - NOT neutral. Even if neutrality was possible, which it fucking isn't, that isn't the job. The press is obliged to be biased in favor of facts.
