After training a lot the last weeks, I was very close to reaching the magic purple "competition" VO2max range.

... then I got headache on Sunday evening, followed by a severe sore throat during the night. On Monday the fever set in and meanwhile it goes up and down to almost 40°C: The flu.

And my Garmin is kind enough to tell me that I am too stressed and should rest more ...

You're not losing because you're not letting ignorance win.

Here, most people I see aren't masking. But I know they're far more likely to get #COVID-19, #TheFlu, or #SRV. And I can tell my fellow masters know it too.

But, what are you gonna do?
