I've been diving from into lore and background of some creations lately. This is when I unlocked a core memory - animated web series #SaladFingers. I remember watching it as a teenager, and how it made me feel back then. In my memory it was nothing more than another creation of its time, strange and freaky, made too shock the audience, without any deeper meaning or message.
This is where #TheFilmTheorists come in to completely change my view on the series. The sole fact that Salad Fingers had a plot was a discovery itself for me, but I am to this moment shocked that it was possible to pinpoint an approximate location and year the action takes place. -
Quite an important episode was released by the Film Theorists on YT: Disney is now doing AI propaganda
The episode shows both older examples of US and CN propaganda used in movies such as the Iron Man, Transformers, but also from Disney's latest movies and shows, such as The Marvels. The latest push is to make people more comfortable with AI, and it seems to work, unfortunately.
It doesn't matter if you're well-versed into the subject, or you have some friends or family that might want to see the episode, it's really informative and should be watched by a lot of people.
