I think award shows are silly. I think too often they recognize established artists over fresh new talents. Giving someone an award for a movie to make up for other snubs is nonsensical.
But give John Williams another Oscar already. He hasn't won since 1994. 29 years! Think of all the amazing work he's done since then. He's a national treasure! He's working with Spielberg on a movie about movies! You like that, right?
