After more listening, I cut the new Dwarves 'Concept Album' full track number (20) in half (sorry, guys, but this one needed it), and messed around order at the end. Here's a solid 10 track album that I dig. The order is whatever (pretty close to perfect), but damn, do I love the shit outta these 10 songs:

Never knew there was a sequel to SLC Punk! until the other day. It's on Tubi (it's called Punk's Dead) and it's pretty great. It has a lot of the original cast, and man, it has the DWARVES performing in it. It was an okay movie, but you put those dudes in there, and I'm beyond in. No Matthew Lillard, but it's a really nice sequel - it focuses on Heroin Bob's son and his friends, and Bob is the narrator from the beyond! It's funny, and it has a massive amount of heart.

Just finished #TheDwarves first playthrough, using the #steamdeck
My, what a beauty of a game! It's not refined, it's not optimized (although runs very well on the deck) but what it lacks in the technical section you'll get in the epicness of the scenery and the background story, plus the animations.
If you have a few bucks and love the books of Markus Heintz I strongly suggest to buy this game as well

Apparently choosing couch and #steamdeck yesterday was a winning choice. I played #TheDwarves and managed to get a huge section done before moving to #TravellersRest.
I love the deck.

If you hadn't played it before and if you like fantasy settings (it comes from Markus Heintz's "The Dwarves saga") this game is a little gem (dwarven pun intended)

Playtime: 32mThe review is late, but I played this game last night. Yesterday was pretty heavy emotionally, and I wasn't really up to staying past midnight to review The Dwarves as well.
Today was pretty hectic, and I wondered whether it might be useful to let my feelings on The Dwarves steep for a bit, to see if I could review it better.
It didn't help. The Dwarves is quite nice graphically, the voiceovers are well done, the gameplay is... really hard to put my finger on.
The Dwarves is a fully 3D isometric RPG. I generally play 15-30 minutes of a game to get a feel for it. Even after 32 minutes, I couldn't get a feel for this game.
The pieces are all there, but it is feeling its age a bit. It didn't drag me in to keep playing, but it didn't make me want to quit and play something else. It just... is.
I think I'll come back to it, and see if it it clicks if I get a bit further into the game.
For now, The Dwarves is barely:
