Good day in my part of the world.
Someone we know may be interested in adopting the cat that has claimed us. I'd really like to find her a good forever home. Plans for a vet visit on Thursday to ensure all is in order.
Got to one of our locals which we haven't been to in quite a while. Nice to grab dinner and a beverage in such a comfortable setting.
Hope life is treating you folks at least as well.

Snagged the last pair of bar seats at my local. SO was on their way. Musicians were just getting settled in.
Food was tasty, Guinness perfectly poured and the staff was great as usual.
The musicians were wonderful. Today I learned what uilleann pipes are called. I've seen them before, I just didn't know the name.
I truly hope you folks have as good an end to your day and maybe learn something new as well. Stay strong. Keep looking out for each other. We'll get there.

I see I've started my morning on a dark note. Need to change that. Perhaps I should wander over to the local for a full Irish breakfast.

Weather wasn't great in my part of the world today. Started out with cold and freezing rain. Currently 35F/2C. Going to be 32F/0C tonight.
But the local was warm. The pint, perfectly pulled. The food, delicious. The musicians, harmonious. The crew, great as always. And of course, the company was fantastic.
Regardless of your seat in this hand basket, hope you get to have as pleasant an evening wherever you are.

Was planning to grab a breakfast sandwich on my way to the makerspace when it occurred to me one of my locals does a Full Irish breakfast. Now I'm sitting at he bar with a perfectly poured pint awaiting breakfast. Maybe I'll stay for the live music at noon.

All prep'ed for the coming storm in my part of the world. Was going to make a pizza tonight but hit one of our locals instead. Nice, warm, comfortable. Life is good. On the walk home saw another great sign in a shop window. Love the folks here.

I feel like things are mildly back on track in my part of the world. Yes, we're still in a hand basket to an unconfirmed destination. And yes, it's still sub-freezing outside. But the local was warm. The beef stew was delicious. The Guinness, perfectly poured. The staff, rocked as usual. And the company was fantastic, as always.

It's weird these days with the what's going on in the world and still dealing with day-to-day activities like work.

Serious amount of rain today and it's quite cold in my part of the world. If it weren't for global climate change I expect this would be a heavy snowstorm.
But it's warm at one of my locals. The crew is fantastic the food tasty and the company wonderful. I'm fortunate to live where I do and to be surrounded by good people.

Pleasant day today here in my cerulean blue bubble in an already blue state. Winter has arrived and it's cold. But the local is warm. The crew was great. The company fantastic and the food delicious.

The weather's been dreary the past couple of days in my part of the world. Lots of rain and chilly. (60F/15C - 50F//10C) Was still chill this evening but the rain let up. Good night to get out to one of my locals for a Guinness and a burger. Fantastic staff, as usual, and a wonderful, warm atmosphere. They're even ready for Halloween.

Spent the greater part of the day teaching folks to be safe; good group, engaged, thoughtful questions.
Wrapped it up with a Guinness, a burger, and some garlic green beans. (Okay, maybe two Guinness). An all around good day.

Just got back from another fine evening at one of my locals. The kitchen was having issues with the fryer but they powered on. The crew was great. The live musicians were fantastic and the crowd was into it. Nice end to a perfect day here in my part of the world.
I hope you folks are having a good day too. On the off chance you're not, we're all human and have bad days, I hope tomorrow is a better one.

I watched one of my communities come together to help one of our members today. Very nice to see. Ended the day at one of my locals. Fantastic company, great crew, expertly poured Guinness and a delicious beef stew.
