2. He leaves by kicking the dude in the chest and backflipping out. I can’t. This is so extra. I love.

I was giving Princess Wanning from #thedouble the prize for most wicked but the daughter of the Princess Royal in #sijin is so far giving her a run for her money. I’m up to episode 16 of Sijin. The Double gave an explanation for Princess Wanning’s psychopathy but so far in Sijin she’s shown as a spoiled brat on steroids.

I thought this meant something Ike, she's an artist, a singer, etc. But as the story goes, it doesn't seem like that's what they meant.I think "talented" here means more in the sense that she's very highly educated in terms of womens education and in the manners and etiquettes of that era.

This is probably the most intense show I've watched this year. Yes, even more than #TheDouble which didn't capture my heart for some reason. I think this is due to the intensity of Liu Xueyi's performance.

At episode 11 of #TheDouble and I am bored. Me and popular dramas still don't mix 🤣.
Part of the reason is this - what drives me as a viewer is good characterisation & growth, more than plot. If a story is mid but has great character development, I am often on board, happily. But Id there's no character development, I struggle.
The Double is definitely a plot driven story with the characters there to push the plot forward. It's harder for me to appreciate it as a result.

Am at the "Jiang Li" goes to school stage of #TheDouble. Putting this on while doing housework and even built an IKEA office chair while watching it 😆
It is ok, I guess. I am still not feeling the hype around the drama nor do I feel emotionally attached to anyone, not even the famous Duke Su, to be honest. I am just driven by the need to see people punished. Can't wait for the step mother suffer for her sins. it's coming soon, right ?? lol -
