CW: TV, The Devils Hour S1 S2
Watched "The Devils Hour" because it's got Stephen Moffat producing and Peter Capaldi acting as a mad man apparently from the future or something.
Started quite slow and fairly normal but escalated and speed up to quite a frenetic pace across multiple timelines.
Spooky and suspenseful and confusing.
I like it.
Trouble is it stopped after two series and series three isn't ready yet so there's this interminable gap to wait now since I'm not a time traveller.
Nor is Capaldi in this show exactly really. Something stranger.
Looking forward to the next season but seems like the wait for time travel shows associated with now or once with Capaldi and Moffat is going to be long in general this year.

I finally managed to watch the end of the second season of #TheDevilsHour.
.
.
.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh... 😱I've been on the edge of my seat for the last one and a half hours and it ends with a cliffhanger that's close to breaking me.
I want to know what'll happen next. And I really hope they can keep this up. Both seasons are really good and the less you know about it, the better. 🙂

I know why nobody is talking about “The Devil's Hour”: Any hint could spoil the fun. It's impossible to talk about it without revealing something.
Season 1 is a slow-burn show. Season 2 is faster because now the whole background of the mystery is established. #TheDevilsHour

#CRRRRS #UK #Geek #SFFH #Podcast #PSA: Until #ArchiveOrg is fixed, episodes 557 and onwards can be only be reliably listened to either on #AntennaPod or #YouTube. Except for older episodes, #ApplePodcasts (#iOS/#MacOS) might be stuffed (I'm not sure as I don't own an iOS device).
Latest:
558 #DeadpoolandWolverine, #SalemsLot, #AlienRomulus, #Smile, #TheDevilsHour, #Kaos, #NeilGaiman, etc.

CW: The Devil's Hour spoilers
I have thoughts on #TheDevilsHour!
First of all, I think the show is really good. The first season more so than the second, but overall, really enjoyable to watch. The show borrows from other stuff, like #DoctorWho, and #Dark. And let's be honest, the ideas it plays with aren't exactly original. But hey, that's normal, and that's fine. The show is done well, and it's really fun to let those concepts run loose in your brain for a bit.So, here's a few thinkings of mine.

You could say that #TheDevilsHour is just a load of bullshit, and it would be hard to argue against that. But I'm enjoying the show more than almost anything else right now. I worry a bit that there isn't more buzz around it. I hope Tom Moran gets the chance to finish the story on his own terms.

I'm sure when I was younger, and when there was generally less to watch, I might've retained memory from something I watched 2 years earlier. But with #TheDevilsHour I once again don't remember anything except I liked it a lot. So a rewatch it is, I guess 🤷🏼♂️
