Just finished Doom: The Dark Ages. 21 hours and a lot of adrenaline. A lot.

What a great game. The game switches between quiet exploration in open levels and arena-like, adrenaline-loaded fighting pits. You can distinguish those by the music. Omniscient ambient and in-your-face-heavy metal.
Doom: Eternal was fast, with a lot of jumping and movement. This one is … the word "slower" sounds wrong. But it is more evasion, blocking and parrying. A great mix of 2016 and Eternal.

Played DOOM: The Dark Ages, and I had a really good time with it.

I've played DOOM Eternal before and while on some level I respect the hell out of that game, it just requires too much brain to play it.

The story though, yah you can skip it.

Booooze, chyba wlasnie uporalem sie z najdluzszym i najnudniejszym poziomem w calym #Doom #TheDarkAges. Lazimy w te i z powrotem, szukajac 4 czy 5 celow do rozwalenia, z czego dwoch broni cala masa demonow + bossowie, a pozostale to zmudna zrecznosciowka.
Ta misja jest tak zla, a do tego napakowana bossami, ze az musialem sobie wszystkie suwaki ulatwien ustawic na maksa, tak zeby wszystkie demony miec na jednego hita, bo juz po prostu nie chcialo mi sie z nia meczyc. Po przejsciu wszystko przywrocilem, chyba, ze tworcy zaserwuja mi jeszcze jeden taki poziom, to znowu bede sobie musial ulatwic bo po prostu nie chce mi sie spedzac kolejnych 3 godzin na przechodzeniu JEDNEGO poziomu...
Za projektowanie takich misji ktos sie powinien, nomen omen, smazyc w piekle
