  1. Continuing to appreciate #TheDailyStoic as a desk reader. I'm leaving yesterday's page here for your consideration accordingly.

The older I get, the now I appreciate that being #kind is one of the most impactful ways to make the world a better place. Our choices define who we are as people. Choice is one of the few things that is always under our control. Cheers friends.

  6. A message from Ryan Holliday's The Daily Stoic:

"Diogenes of Sinope said that we sell things of great value for things of very little, and vice versa."
    - Diogenes Laertius,
Lives of the Eminent Philosophers, 6.2.35b

Something to think on. Stay safe tomorrow, humans.

  11. Do good. Be better.

Been working through #TheDailyStoic this year (up to May so far, I'm not great about it) and enjoying it. It's a quote-a-day book by #RyanHoliday, and leans pretty heavily on Epictetus, Seneca, and Marcus Aurelius.

I don't really follow Holiday, but I appreciate what he's done to popularize stoic ideas.

  12. I REALLY hated the term "vibe coding", but upon learning of the meme reference made to Rick Rubin (whom I love and respect) and hearing him talk about it — and the act of creativity, curiosity, exploration and being open as part of the creative process — I'm now okay with it in a way.

More "vibe coding" as a CREATIVE act, less as a hustle/productivity thing.

Great episode of #thedailystoic where Ryan Holiday interviews him.
