CW: Review: The Consultant
So I finished watching The Consultant on Amazon Prime.
I really enjoyed Christoph Waltz, he was brilliant and made the show for me. I also liked his character, totally insane at times and extremely creepy.
But the big disappointment was the ending, the whole season was a buildup to the this and they blew it. The ending could have made the show from a 6/10 to a 8/10.

Has anyone watched #HelloTomorrow on Apple TV+ or #TheConsultant on Amazon Prime? We've watched a couple episodes of each and haven't felt compelled to keep watching either of them. I'm wondering if I'm missing out with either show. #TV

The Consultant ist nun also der Beweis, dass auch Christoph Waltz mal ordentlich daneben greift. Dabei beginnt die Serie vielversprechend. Für Komödie nicht lustig genug, für Gesellschaftskritik nicht konkret genug. Leider nein.

I just binged four episodes of The Consultant. It’s been a while since a show made me yell WTF multiple times during each episode. My brains are goo. I put it away for the night and checked my email. Had a mysterious one from “Emma” only asking “Where do you live?” No idea who this person is, but I deleted it asap because I’m spooked after watching the show. I've watched 2 episodes of #TheConsultant. It was bothering me that no one was confrontational. Situation is fucking weird! But I wonder if it kind of works is because the work force is in their 20s (avg 27). The one older guy is nearly forced out for smelling "rancid". I think social adaptation might be less likely with people just one generation older.
Maybe I'm just trying a make a way for it to make sense for my own comfort

✅ Die erste Staffel von "The Consultant" ist spannend inszeniert, enthält einige überraschende Wendungen und lässt einen nach dem schauen mit vielen offenen Fragen zurück. 🤔
Man kann nur hoffen, dass es eine zweite Staffel geben wird, die zumindest einige der offenen Fragen zu Regus Patoff klärt.
Das Ende der ersten Staffel wirkt aufjedenfall vielversprechend und deutet eine zweite Staffel geradezu an. Für mich 7/10 🎬
