Yesterday or today there was a report that "rogue programmers" had reprogrammed LLM's - without "guard rails".

Probably, but I couldn't resist. 😉In fact,
@mina and I, as well as many others, just had an interesting discussion about my all-time favorite #SciFi saga, #Dune, including its remake. 🤜🤛For me, #TheCompleteRobot, though technically not a saga, is in 2nd place, followed closely by #BattlestarGalactica, not the original series getting the bronze metal jointly with #Foundation.
However, regarding scope, there is nothing that beats #PerryRhodan, the biggest series ever.

...I know, I am sounding alarmist, but having read/seen much #ScienceFiction, all the necessary ingredients for an #ExtinctionLevelEvent (#ELE] for #humanity are in place.
