Good advice article in #TheComet - must do more to protect families renting - 8 weeks notice to move out -must be impossible if you have kids at local schools and local properties with affordable rents aren’t available - imagine the stress of this..Need more regulation to protect renters now - particularly as most of the younger population and their families may be renting for life.

@secretbatcave @Mina @madhu_shrieks #privateeye and #TheEconomist along with the FT seem to be the only ones with the stories- no current event stream -ie no pics from the Notting hill carnival etc and little local reporting on local issues. The cutting of local radio a big problem. #TheComet for #Stevenage is well written but not clear what its future is . Cant hold powers to account if you dont know whats going on - a threat to democracy.
