New #Swans album #TheBeggar is an absolute beast as expected but it also has so much of an Angels Of Light influence. Very peaceful and spiritual. Love it. Can't wait to see them in August. 😎

As much as I like Swans’ noisy early albums I actually prefer their more recent experimental post-rock music.
Although a lot of Swans later songs are repetitive they never get boring. They're often long but never feel too long even when they get beyond 20 minutes. They have a knack for writing songs you can lose yourself in.
The Beggar is very good, especially if you like Swans.
