    Saturday I did a practice ride on my twitchy wiggly 16" #bike. I'm normally too lazy to ride, except on Sundays, unless there's a group ride. Yeah, I'm feeling good about myself. 🤪 Nothing wrong with the bike, it's just me. Hence, the practice. I much prefer the 26" one, really. #TheAwkwardCyclist 🚴

    Here's a photo of #LilBlue and my shoe at the killer grates. Why the shoe? Well, those grates aren't just dangerous for bikes. My foot sorta went in it. 🙄

    Successful #bike ride. 🚴🚴🚴🚴
    Still alive. 🤪

    Got home and first thing I wanted was a reward for my efforts. So I ordered an Egg McMuffin #meal for delivery.

    Yes, I did use #PedalAssist (again) several times during our ride. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to keep up with my #BikeBuddies. 😁

    Now very tired. I didn't get enough #sleep. I'm actually not sure if I slept at all.

    What's next?

    CW: Practice bike ride Day 2. Report 2/2.

    Still can't make smaller turns.
    Still having trouble keeping the #bike straight.
    Still #TheAwkwardCyclist.
    This time I remembered to keep my fingers on the brakes ☝️ (which #BikeBuddy had to remind me so many times on Day 1 last week).

    Oh, and I fell! 😅
    Very minor #injury to my right knee.

    First aid was alcohol spray and just lightly dusting the dirt off with my hanky.
    I was wearing full-length jeans. 😉
    Hence, very* minor.

    After lunch i was trying to convince myself that I could go ride on my own. That I should* go practice. (#BikeBuddy's not available this Saturday.)

    But #TheAwkwardCyclist in me thought: maybe I'll just go down install the extension bar and camera bracket I just ordered, and be ready to ride on Sunday.
