If you have the time to read one (more) book this year, consider reading The Arbornaut by Meg Lowman.
This book has taken root in my mind - yes, just like a tree.
It is an astounding story about ecology, trees, women in science, citizen science.
It is also extremely well-written and although it tackles many difficult subjects there's plenty of humour to balance those.
Allow yourself to be transported by a life devoted to science and trees.
