I’m late with my review, but #TheAngryRedPlanet was a solid #monsterdon entry tonight. It was mostly terrible, but the bat-rat-spider-crab monster was a Grade A 1950s monster, the weird red Cinemagic process was pretty effective in creating a weird, alien atmosphere, and Iris was a top-notch female scientist with a great scream who overcame a crew of male dolts to save the day.
Put it all together, and a pretty fun watch as long as you’re mostly paying attention to fun #monsterdon posts.

i'm sorry for all the people who have issues with sound and stuff and couldn't deal with the red planet visuals but for me this was exactly the right kind of utterly terrible 1950s group watch fodder
