This video is fun because it shows many of the different kinds of silly that "The Amazing World of Gumball" is.

I disagree with its title, because I think most of these examples aren't actually "Gumball is queer", but just that Gumball is free from gender stereotype biases and has no problem to behave "feminine" or be affectionate towards male friends.

BUT no matter what, it certainly shows Gumball is a great guy! (if he isn't a pest.^^) (And of course Darwin is also a great guy, in general!)

As with all cartoon shows I start watching, I looked up Gumball fanfics.

There are only like... 50 or so romance fics of it on Archive of our Own, that's not enough by far! 😅😊

Alright, I'm nearly through with season 3 of "The Amazing World of Gumball" now.

So, as you might expect from someone that has watched three seasons of a show, I like it.

There's not *much* "story", as usual for these shows that mostly reset with each episode, but the characters are really fun.

It's hard to say who'd be ma favorite. I actually enjoy Nicole much more when she's in a motherly mood than her competitive aggression, but yeah, she's nice.

I like the trope Anais fills with being the young, cute one, but still the smartest. And her ears nearly reach the ground, that's lovely. 😊

Penny is a lovely girl.

All that said, I DO appreciate that SOME things do change or stay fixed in such shows. I also like that about Bob's Burgers.

I could finally watch episode two of Gumball as I have access to all of them now.

I hope I love Nicole and Anais as much as tons of lovely/cute fanart make them look like!

While Gumball himself is a bit, erm, exhausting I like his voice actor and his and Darwin's general dynamic.

While yes, animation is in a sorry state right now, if #CartoonNetwork made new shows, it wouldn’t be like stuff my generation enjoyed like #RegularShow or #TheAmazingWorldOfGumball, it’d be stuff like #CraigOfTheCreek. And we wouldn’t enjoy it as much anyways.

The times are changing and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
