The Adventure Zone 7 - Story and Song (2026)

Y por fin llegamos al final de "los cuatro nerds que jugaron a D&D tan fuerte que se hicieron llorar a sí mismos". Me ha gustado, era difícil adaptar la batalla final que en el podcast era bastante abstracta pero ha quedado bien, el dibujo de Carey Pietsch funciona muy bien para esta historia.

¿Lo prefiero al podcast original? La verdad es que no. El podcast eran 3 hermanos que querían grabar algo con su padre y poco a poco fueron descubriendo sus personajes y creando una historia irrepetible. El cómic es más una obra planificada, una visión consistente, pierde algo de la naturalidad de la familia tomándose el pelo y descarrilando un podcast durante 10 minutos con estupideces.

He disfrutado mucho el cómic, es un refinamiento de la historia original con unos pocos cambios que mejoran la narrativa incluso, una adaptación más que digna.

I was listening to a bit of #TheAdventureZone Amnesty recently and wow, Duck is great. :D What a character.

I'm listening to the Candlenights in Tacoma liveshow from 2017, and I'm *dying* from how much I'm laughing. 😭 I really love #TheAdventureZone.

I really love what Griffin's done for the theme music of the current Adventure Zone mini arc. Running the original Balance theme through a classic Castlevania filter is an amazing decision and works really well.
