Why is everything so grim on TV these days? I’m kind of tired of all the violence and pessimism in humanity. What happened to dreaming about great things, new achievements, overcoming our weaknesses (like in #StarTrek)?

Watched #The8Show and I highly, highly recommend that you don't.
Ha, what a twist I just wrote. I'd win an Emmy for it before the writers of 8 Show ever do. It's so uninspired. "Capitalism is bad" is as far as the screenwriter seems to have got because there's nothing else there. Good effort for a 5 minute student film, god awful for an 8 hour #Netflix series.

The 8 Show好好好看！！随便从网上找的剧，但想不到竟然就是那种我一直很想看但是从来没看到的剧！
主题像《饥饿站台》+《雪国列车》，然后表现形式像《鱿鱼游戏》+《电锯惊魂》，但是The 8 Show要轻松诙谐得多，但是这部剧竟然能够以这样轻松诙谐的手法把以上几部电影中相对沉重的主题表达出来，而且表现得一点也不比它们差。
在《黑镜》或者《饥饿站台》还有《雪国列车》（或者《上海折叠》里？我没看但是大概知道内容）里，都有那种尝试把现实的社会结构抽象成故事里的设定，但是我觉得目前为止The 8 Show是我觉得最好玩、最完整也是最真实的设定。
而且主要这剧也真的很好笑···真的想不到能够在表达这样主题的情况下，还能整出这么多特别乐呵的剧情，现在看到第5集，特别好奇后续会怎样发展。
