Still, the movie has its very own song performed by none other than Mari Iijima (Minmay) and it is a classic among Macross fans. Has anyone else watch "The Thin Man" movie series? The 1st film in the series came out in 1934. They're basically detective movies set in the 30s and 40s with William Powell and Myrna Loy. Oh and a wire haired terrier named Skippy.

If you haven't and like classic movies, I highly recommend them. My grandma introduced them to me years ago along with a lot of other classes cinema. I ran across them while fixing our Plex server and started watching them again.

As a big fan of The Thin Man, I've long wondered just where on Telegraph Hill the Charles' house was supposed to be. I've spent a long time re-watching that scene where they drive up, looking at the views, trying to place landmarks across a roughly 80-year time gap.

It never occurred to me that their house could be *where the Coit Tower is!* 😂 So glad to have that mystery finally solved.
