    CW: Mahusive spoilers for Doctor Who - The Reality War!

    Despite finding the episode a bit meh overall, and feeling that there were lots of unresolved plot points, there were 2 massive highlights for us:

    1. The excellent cameo of Jodie Whittaker.
    2. Billie Piper being the next Doctor!!!

    We were sad when we learnt that Ncuti was going, but HOLY FUCKBALLS were we not expecting to see Billie Piper returning!!!

    Genuinely SUPER excited to see what happens next now, and hoping she doesn't get screwed over like Jodie Whittaker did with Chris Chibnall 🤞

    5. I do like how they tied Anita, the Time Hotel and the "Joy to the World" holiday special into the finale, even if the special didn't quite land.

    6. Omega without a mask was a bit disappointing, but I understand the reason of a rotting body given that Omega was trying to re-enter N-Space and maintain corporeal form via the Doctor in previous serials.

    6b. Part of that disappointment also comes from also not seeing Sutekh's mask in the previous series finale.

    7. I presume that we'll see the continuation of God and God-like beings being part of the Doctor Who universe.

    Having just finished listening and taking notes for this week's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and having a little bit more time to process the episode...

    1. No further info on why/how Susan Foreman was calling out to the Doctor

    2. Will they close out Rogue's storyline or will we see him return in future episodes?

    3. With the Sixteenth Doctor being played by Billie Piper, will we end up with a Bad Wolf situation in the next series?

    4. I do love the detail of the Doctor and Bel folding up the jacket and seeing it shrink down to a patch of fabric as Poppy fades away in that reality (as it were).
