Em "The Expanse", o derretimento das calotas polares (picos nevados, etc) já é passado. A gente vê isso na sequência de abertura do seriado, e vê ainda melhor no quinto livro e quinta temporada, quando Amos visita Baltimore, uma das muitas cidades litorâneas que falharam em conter os danos causados pela elevação do nível do mar.

Wenn die Serie mit jeder Staffel immer besser wird, und immer noch nah am Original. Die Veränderungen passen gut und stören mich nicht. Vom Ende des neunten Buches trennen mich noch 5 Stunden Hörbuch und mit dem streamen komme ich jetzt zur Staffel fünf. #theexpanse
