The Big Short film was released just over 10 years ago. It came out in January 2016 in the UK and Ireland.

Legendarny inwestor, znany z przewidzenia kryzysu finansowego w 2008 roku i sportretowany w filmie „The Big Short”, znów wziął na celownik imperium Elona Muska.
W swoim najnowszym wpisie Michael Burry ocenił, że obecna wycena giełdowa Tesli jest oderwana od rzeczywistości, a akcjonariusze muszą liczyć się z rozwodnieniem swoich udziałów.
Burry, który niedawno przeniósł swoją aktywność publicystyczną na platformę Substack po wyrejestrowaniu funduszu hedgingowego, nie przebiera w słowach. Jego zdaniem kapitalizacja rynkowa producenta aut elektrycznych jest „śmiesznie przewartościowana” i stan ten utrzymuje się od dłuższego czasu. Wskaźnik ceny do zysku (P/E) wynosi jednak ponad 250, co jest wartością wielokrotnie wyższą niż w przypadku tradycyjnych koncernów motoryzacyjnych. Choć Tesla nadal dominuje na rynku aut elektrycznych w USA, jej udział spadł do około 41 proc. (dane z sierpnia), co potwierdza tezę o rosnącej presji ze strony konkurencji.
