Who is Pontus
In Greek mythology, #Pontus is the primordial god of the Sea, one of the first beings to emerge from #Gaia, the Earth. He represents the deep, unshaped waters that existed before the seas were ruled by #Poseidon or filled with life.
With Gaia, Pontus fathered many ancient sea deities, including #Nereus, #Thaumas, #Phorcys, #Ceto, and #Eurybia. Together, they shaped the mysteries and creatures of the ocean.
