I found Justice Preston from "Forbidden" the most intriguing. His journey from a loyal under-priest to a hunted heretic was compelling. His crisis of faith, mixed with his determination to reveal the truth at any cost, gave him a wonderful depth that made me want to know his full story. It was a masterclass in teasing a larger world, leaving me genuinely curious to read more of your novels.

I loved Davinia Evans’s ‘Notorious Sorcerer.’ Well-drawn characters, families of choice, strong platonic bonds, and a lovely queer romance that wasn’t overdone? Right up my alley. I also enjoyed the worldbuilding, writing style, and balance between action and exposition.

Just finished Ciel Pierlot’s ‘Bluebird,’ which I really enjoyed: fun, fast-paced #sapphic space opera with strong platonic relationships too. Now I’m about halfway through Davinia Evans’s ‘Notorious Sorcerer,’ a queer fantasy book I’m loving so much that I dread it being over.

My latest queer sci-fi reads are ongoing webcomics, like mintibi's BE MY VILLAIN, which is a (very slow burn) romantic story about a teen with superhero dads and a mysterious supervillain(?) investigating scientific experiments in a slightly futuristic metro that increasingly under attack.

@queerscifi I just read an excellent LGBTQA ARC called The Darkest Memories by Alyse Steves. It’s about a superhero serial killer and Hadley, the unlikely heroine who gets wrapped up in the case. Its a great dark, paranormal thriller and I think it’s now o pre-order.
