I just had the most bizarre experience … I asked a potentially dumb Mastadon related question, and a bunch of friendly, patient people came to offer help! Wtf?! In ‘the other place’ I’d have been called a dumb bitch! I think I love it here, and even if ‘the other place’ doesn’t crash and burn, I might just stay!!! #ThankyouMastodon

Just want to say im having a really nice time on here so far. So thank you to all the people who have kindly followed me, boosted and liked my posts and all the very clever people who make this place function and keep going. I’m doing a four day intensive bagpipe music thing online and at the end of the last lesson my carpal tunnel and arthritis got so bad I couldn’t play the embellishments properly and I almost cried and I never cry and I went for a walk with the dog and looked at horses and guinea hens and came back home and came on @Mastodon and everyone was so nice and funny and interesting that I felt quite a lot better, so thanks for that everyone.
