    3. Making headway on the tall stack of grading.

  4. When I was younger I used to resent doing yard work, but ultimately I'm glad my mom made me help her because my love of plants and #gardening sprung from that over time. And now I will info-dump about trees, shrubs, perennials, etc. on anyone who will listen :joy: I think I still have some pictures of my first shrub and perennial garden tucked away somewhere, I'll have to dig them out and post a few on MetaPixel.

  5. My love of gaming and horror movies is all thanks to my Mom, a person who loved her Atari 2600, PAC-MAN & Creepshow. The first game she introduced me to was Frogger and the last game she watched me play was Thief 2 and even then she sat there amazed at how far video games had come from the early 80s. #ThanksMom #Missyou #Gaming

  6. So... sometimes somebody just drops by your house with some #rambutans ? 😆 Gotta crack the hairy shell, then there's a smooth "grape" inside, and it also has a pit! Sweet, but too much work without more coffee, lol. (I prefer lichees, but nobody asked!)

  7. My third birthday party, December 21, 1968. There are four candles on the cake because there was always "one to grow." That's my brother Chris at the far left — his birthday was two days earlier — brother Dave in the middle, wearing an eye patch for amblyopia, and Mom, creator of festive birthday celebrations (two!) amidst all the other Christmas folderol.

    Happy Solstice!

The centre is the bottom of a broken pinwheel crystal candy dish. (Some dumbass who doesn't use social media may or may not have poured boiling cranberry sauce in to it.) #ThanksMom #ChristmasFails
