Video games finished in November - only 1: Thank goodness you're here. Once I caught on that you revisit places & people, I enjoyed seeing how their stories develop, especially Colin, Florence & Keri's stories. And Megg's husband's resignation every time he got covered in coal dust again.

When I haven't been messing with that Yamaha receiver (I think I need a better multimeter, actually) and playing NMS/Thank Goodness You're Here on PS5, or Hellblade 2 on Series X, I've been enjoying Sludge Life on my Deck. Amusing "little" game. For something that looks pretty "simple", it sure is a battery drainer tho, lol. Hour-ish to go from 99% to 37%.

Well, after today's Halloween Trick, which was installing more new components into a Yamaha receiver I've been messing with and hoping it would finally work.. and it didn't, lol.. I "Treated" myself to some No Man's Sky to finish off the Cursed Expedition and get the rewards. Then as an extra Treat, I went back into Thank Goodness You're Here and did one more playthrough, hunting trophies. Got the Platinum, something I rarely do, as evidenced by the fact it's only my 23rd. That game is just that good that I wanted to fully complete it.

While checking out the rewards in the PSN Stars I realized I had enough points to "claim" #ThankGoodnessYoureHere so I'll prob check that out sometime this weekend.

Also playing #Violett which is def showing its age on the PS5. Not sure how or when I got it but it's been in the library a while so I thought I should get to it already, lol.

I guess there's a new Expedition in #NoMansSky so I'll likely start that as well.

Decided that I was spending too much of my spare time doing illustrations for Lunchbox Stickers, so agreed with the child that I would do something different this year. Badges!

Anyway I have *obviously* immediately started doing individual illustrations for them rather than batching / using found artwork / anything that might make them less time consuming than before.

Started playing some #ThankGoodnessYoureHere last night and it's definitely a vibe.

Here's the menu screen. I absolutely adore what this game is going for.

Also spotted a few anti-Thatcher things dotted around the world, which doesn't hurt.

Oh and since becoming a Dad, the word 'Faff' has become a top 50 word in my lexicon, so extra credit for that.

I finished "Thank Goodness You're Here!". I tried to finish it quickly so I wouldn't get the jokes spoiled by random videos in my feed. It's maybe a bit odd that I'm more bothered by joke spoilers than I am plot spoilers for serious things. #gaming #thankgoodnessyourehere
