A two-storey bar and more leg room: Inside France’s new high-speed TGV trains.

The redesign includes a two-storey bar, extra legroom and improved access for disabled passengers. The trains will have an extra carriage for a maximum of 740 passengers per train.

They will start operating on the Paris-Lyon-Marseille route - the busiest high-speed line in the country - before being phased in across the rest of the network.

Mesdames, Messieurs, le départ de notre train à destination de Lyon Part-Dieu est imminent. Attention à la fermeture automatique des portes, attention au départ.

Sie hatten insgesamt 14 nicht geplante Unterbrechungen zwischen Frankfurt und Avignon, davon waren 9 in Deutschland und fünf in Frankreich. 1 Stunde Verspätung hatten sie bereits auf der Strecke von Frankfurt nach Strassburg eingefahren, die letzten 15 Minuten Verspätung dann in Frankreich.

🇫🇷🚄💨 The early bird #TGVINOUi-service from #StMalo🇫🇷 to #Paris🇫🇷 Montparnasse №8082 started when it was still dark🌃 and rainy🌧 to the outside. A "p'tit dej" menu at the beautiful bar carriage of the presented "TGV l'Ocèane" trainset while travelling speed clocked at 318km/h was the right way to start the day early! #diningcar

🇫🇷🚄☕️ Today's consist of #TGVINOUi № 8922 from #LeCroisic🇫🇷 to #Paris🇫🇷 was a classical #SNCF class "TGV Atlantique" (TGV-A) high-speed train built in 1991 by #Alstom. They were the second generation of TGV trains, following on from the TGV Sud-Est. We left this beauty already in #SaintNazaire🇫🇷. Of course, it was time for a quick coffee☕️ in the bar carriage 😍! #diningcar

🇫🇷🚄 The TGV "L’Océane" trains were introduced in 2017 as #SNCF's 3rd generation of TGV Duplex trains, in operation towards Bordeaux and Brittany. The bar carriage has wonderful small boothes with nice table lamps as well as standing tables 🤩!
