Because I giggled when I wrote it yesterday:
"Gege." His lips brush across Xie Lian's with every sound. "If you keep kissing me like this I'll be too distracted to concoct my dastardly scheme to assault the heavens."
Xie Lian hums. "Even as a banished god, I think it might be my duty to distract you then."
"Is that so?"
The laugh vibrates from his god's chest into his own, so close are they pressed together.
"Maybe it's just my pleasure then?"
"I can accept that."
And accept it he does, again and again and again.
