Someone was giving away their parachute thing on a community group so I claimed it with a huge amount of gusto because I haven't found anywhere to get retired sails/ parachutes from and I wanna make stuff!
Look at all the material and cords and hardware! So much good shit! I'm going to make a bum bag out of it to thank the guy who gave it to me. It'll look sick as hell with all the stuff and metal and stuff on it.

Success. Finally found someone looking for used denim for an upcycle project. Apt since cycling is inevitably what wears holes in all my jeans.
I was running out of time before moving day and admitting defeat that would've sent these to landfill.

Just made these today. They're scrunchies and are an excellent gift for people with long hair.
I've used scrap fabric leftover from other projects. So they're almost free too!Took me about an hour but I don't rush myself 😊☺️ I've got some leftover for myself too.
I need to print off a glove and beanie pattern for scrap use.
If you've got old T shirts you could make these and they're small enough to hand sew if you don't have a machine.
