Spent the night debugging and configuring the transfer of my system to a new-old computer. 😴
At least most of the configuration carried over by copying dot-files and the dconf settings.

But two major things kept me up: the display, and #neovim. I'll write more later.
Also installed #texlive2025, this time not from the Ubuntu repos.

The reason I didn't postpone it is that I have an #application deadline today 😱 for which I need my neovim and #LaTeX config.

Ich habe ein LaTeX Projekt was im PDF/A Format sein muss. Um zu prüfen, dass ich da nichts kaputt mache habe ich eine Pipeline, die prüft, dass die PDF im PDF/A-2b format ist (das war die Einstellung die ich damals gewählt habe).

Seit einigen Wochen ist die Pipeline deswegen gefailed, die Lokale Version lief noch und ich konnte mir nicht erklären, warum die Pipeline gefailed ist.

Heute habe ich mir das mal angeschaut: Seit LaTeX Kernel Version 2025-06-01 wird automatisch eine PDF mit Version 2.0 erzeugt wenn man PDF-Tagging aktiv hat.
Meine Pipeline hatte eine neuere TeXLive Version, die das Update drin hat, bei mir Lokal war das nicht der Fall

Also habe ich in der Pipeline eine PDF 2.0 mit PDF/A-2b erzeugt. Was nicht gehen sollte, da PDF/A-2b auf PDF 1.7 aufbaut.

Nachdem ich das rausgefunden habe hatte ich 2 Möglichkeiten: Manulle PDF 1.7 einstellen oder PDF/A-4 nutzen. Habe mich jetzt für das Letztere entschieden.

"Mal eben" #texlive2025 auf dem Laptop installieren dachte ich mir. (Die Installation dauert ca. 2,5h)
Erst geht der nach der Hälfte in Standby... okay, mein Fehler, hab die Energiesparoptionen nicht bedacht. 🤦‍♂️
Dann nochmal gestartet... und Windows so: du machst ja grad nichts, dann installier ich jetzt das Update. 🤬
Vielleicht stell ich das doch noch vor der #gpn23 auf Linux um...
