1/3 of the body finished. It's getting a bit boring to knit, although it really looks beautiful.

Fingering weight yarn, so it takes forever. I also think it might be too big... although that might be nice, and I can easily make it smaller by adding a side seam at the end.

So, on we go.

Finally decided on the fifth colour in this #testknit #WoolweftSweater for designer @s.knits
The original pattern calls for four colours, so had to go stash diving when I decided I want to make the body longer - as I'm tall and not small in general, even tall for Dutch standards 😉

Onwards for the last bit before the ribbing :)
And then some sleeves to knit...

Let's see how many months the sleeves are going to take me... I might try knitting them both at once to speed things up.

So, I managed to finish this shirt in 3 weeks (of which one week on holiday and hardly knitting anything...)

Very happy with the colour, marling the anthracite and the dark red is beautiful I think.

I like the 'butterfly' sleeves as the pattern calls them.

And the shirt fits, I was worried my head wouldn't fit through, but it does. Too short still, but will block it (tomorrow??) and probably will grow quite a bit. Hopefully, that is.

In the final stretch of a test knit I started in December. This is the first time I have knit a jumper where you pick up and knit the arms from the steeks.

Deadline: Jan 22 (flexible)

Requirements: Knit the cowl, take a photo in good lighting (if possibly worn) and post on a public social media of your choice (or create a Ravelry project), give feedback on the pattern.

Materials: 110 - 150 m/120 - 165 yds of any Aran weight yarn
5 mm needles to knit in the round
